This 2.4 acre site is located at the intersection of Burning Glass Road and Dr. David Friesen Drive in the Sage Creek Village Centre. The office building was designed by Prairie Architects and the site received LEED® Silver certification.
The streetscape features a blend of paving stones, including some permeable varieties to allow site drainage to infiltrate instead of simply running off. The environmentally responsible site also feature native vegetation, which is adapted to our climate and drought tolerant, reducing the need to irrigate.
The site contains curvilinear limestone signage in front of the massive corner glass atrium. Decorative fencing and site furnishings accentuate the classic glass and limestone building. Local limestone and basalt boulders punctuate the feature planting beds surrounding the building. The building features two terraced roof gardens. These intensive green roofs are complete with deep planting beds featuring trees, seating and paving stone walkways, resulting in a true amenity and gathering space for Qualico's 120 employees.
